
Binghamton Shooting Suspect Still at Large
Binghamton Police report no suspects in custody in connection with an August 9 shooting in the First Ward that left a Johnson City man hospitalized in critical condition.
Police say 23 year old Tyheem Carpenter was shot in the face during an argument with a man he knows at an apartment building on Wilson Street at around 12:40 a.m.
Detectives say the shooting was not a random act and there was no danger to anyone else in the area.
The authorities have not released a description of the suspect who is said to have fired a handgun at Carpenter before fleeing the scene.
