Winter Fun! Binghamton New York Pond Fest Returns
And speaking of things to do outside in the dead of winter...have you heard of the Binghamton Pond Festival?
Well, it's back again this year, featuring three weekends of fun. Binghamton Pond Fest as they call it for short, is back at Chenango Valley State Park January 17 through the 19th, January 24th through the 26th, and January 31st through February 2nd.
According to the Binghamton Pond Fest website, this event is recognized as one of the top hockey tournaments in the nation, featuring mechanical refrigeration for the 220 by 110-foot outdoor ice rink, which is designed to manage warm weather concerns related to outdoor hockey.
