Detectives are trying to find those involved in a shooting incident that occurred on the West Side of Binghamton.

Police were sent to 60 North Street around 3:30 p.m. Sunday after a couple of callers reported hearing the sound of gunfire. Heavy snow was falling at the time the shots were heard.

Detective Captain Cory Minor said investigators have not learned of anyone who was struck by the shots.

Minor said detectives were working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. He said there was no immediate indication that it was related to any other recent reports of shots fired in Binghamton.
