Binghamton’s first ever Comedy Crawl will take place on April 1st with stand up comedy events at three downtown venues. More than a dozen total comedians will perform during the event, formatted similar to a bar crawl, with the first show at Water Street Brewing Company at 6pm, The Place on Court at 7pm, and Atomic Tom’s at 8pm. An after party featuring more stand up comedy and karaoke takes place at 10pm at Matty B’s, 116 Glenwood Ave, Binghamton.

Comedians performing at the Comedy Crawl include Bill Lake, who has worked as a contributing writer for the Late Show with David Letterman and Saturday Night Live; Phil Stamato a contributing writer for Splitsider where he has done interviews with big names like Brain Regan and Bill Burr; and Nick Vatterott who has appeared on the
Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Conan, and has a half hour special on Comedy Central. In addition, members of the local comedy group Parlor City Comedy will
perform at each venue.

According to event organizer Giordano DeAngelo, “We organized this event to expand the platform for local comedy and to allow residents a chance to experience the great
comedy they have here, and to encourage them to check out the downtown Binghamton scene. Our hope is to expand each year and make this an annual event that many look forward to.”

The event is free and open to the public. The shows are scheduled so that event-goers will have time to walk comfortably from one show to the next without missing any performances.
