The 50th anniversary of the annual golf classic known as the Dicks Sporting Goods open went off almost perfect this past weekend.

The ultimate competition that as brought some of the best golfers on the planet to the triple cities for the past five decades was back this past weekend, after a years hiatus due to the pandemic, fans flocked to En-Joie Golf course to watch the best compete.

The Dicks Sporting Goods Open (formerly the B.C. Open) kicked off the 50th year last Friday morning (July 2, 2021)

Among the competitors there were familiar faces like Joey Sindelar, and Fred Funk, along with new competitors like Ernie Els.

The Tournament ended with a thrilling come from behind victory by rookie Cameron Beckman over Ernie Els to capture this tears title.
