
Arrests Made in Johnson City McDonald’s Stabbing
Johnson City Police report that four arrests have been made in a stabbing incident on December 20 at McDonald's. 339 Main Street in Johnson City. According to police reports two men went to the hospital's intensive care unit requiring treatment for injuries suffered in the altercation.
In information released today (December 24) by the Johnson City Police Department the following suspects were arrested on Friday, December 21:
Dane R. Edwards, age 22 from Deposit
Jay M. Moore, ages 33 from Deposit
Travis J. Dise, age 24 from Deposit and
Christopher G. Nugent, age 31 from Deposit.
All four are charged with two counts each of Gang Assault in the First Degree. (No actual gang is believed to be involved. The word "Gang" in the charges refers to multiple persons involved in the assault). All four suspects were arrested in Deposit, NY on Friday, December 21. They are accused of causing serious bodily harm to the victims in the incident. All four were arraigned and remanded to the Broome County Jail without bail.
Johnson City Police were assisted by the New York State Police and the Deposit Police Department. Police indicate that additional arrests are expected.
