Yesterday was a good day for me. Woke up, went to church and went home to start getting ready for Easter dinner.

My wife and I hosted two of my sisters, my nephew, my brother-in-law, my stepson and his father at our house in Endicott. We had a ton of food and drink and then had a birthday cake for my stepson Ian who turns 21 this week. After the cake, we went out to our patio to have some more adult beverages and play a few board games. We played the game "What's Yours Like", and then moved on to play the "80's Game". It's like Trivial Pursuit but it's all 80's trivia. I did pretty well with the music and sports, but I quickly learned I don't know crap about 80's movies. If you ever play that game, study up on Chevy Chase movies. Some of them, I never even heard of. We had a great time with lots of laughs like we always do when my family gets together.

After a few hours, we went inside to make ham sandwiches with the leftover ham. Had some more drinks and then my family left to head back to their homes.

I settled in to watch some playoff hockey and basketball and ended up taking a snooze on the couch.

All in all, it was a great day even though I missed my other siblings and their families who all celebrated the holiday with their family members. And now I off enjoy more leftovers.

I hope you had a great day as well.
