35th Annual Spiediefest Wraps Up with Kansas

The 35th Annual Spiedeifest and Balloon Rally wrapped up Sunday evening with the legendary group Kansas performing.  The crowd jammed the concert area to hear an array of their hit songs including "Dust in the Wind", "Carry On Wayward Son"' and many others.  Kansas performed at Spiediefest in 2004 as well.

Prior to Kansas rocking Otsiningo Park, Binghamton native Matthew Cornwell performed. He has traveled all over the country to sing and perform and returned Sunday to sing in front of family and friends.

Earlier in the day the annual Spiedie Cooking Contest was held and a Classic Car Show was held in the area near the balloon launch site. Dozens of vendors took part in the three-day event.  Everything from food and beverages to jewelry and home accessories was featured.
