A developer has presented plans for a new senior housing complex to the Endicott village board.

Trustee Ted Warner said the proposal calls for construction of a 120-unit project near the existing Skye View Heights development off East Franklin Street.

Warner said the planned $20 million project would be built on a 25-acre site owned by the developer. He said the new residential units would be in a single U-shaped building.

Warner said the project would have both one- and two-bedroom units with covered parking for residents. He said plans call for indoor and outdoor pools, along with exercise facilities.

Representatives of the developers could not be reached for comment Tuesday. Warner said they told the village board they are hoping construction could start about a year from now.
