Why America Needs To Move Forward Together

This National election was the first in my lifetime where people of all beliefs were brutal to each other. Friend against friend, stranger against stranger. It was incredibly disheartening, because what I have seen on Facebook is an overwhelmingly similar goal. Every American to be prosperous.

"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

We the People. We believe that those who need help should be given a hand up. We believe that all people should be able to pursue the American Dream. And yet we let politicians and pundits derail us into divisiveness.

It is time that we; neighbors, family members, friends, strangers look at each other and respect our different beliefs as we rebuild the fabric of what makes this Country great.
Tolerance of different beliefs is one of the great things that founded this Country.

Respect each other, help each other and support those that keep us free. That's it. What we need to do.

Patrick Henry, during the infancy of our Country, warned us of a future none of us want. This one mistake can now destroy our beautiful Country.  “Let us trust God, and our better judgment to set us right hereafter. United we stand, divided we fall. Let us not split into factions which must destroy that union upon which our existence hangs.”
