What’s Happening This Weekend in Binghamton

You have a wide range of Fall fun to pick from this weekend. Whether it's crafts, apples, food or music you can find something to interest you in the Southern Tier.

Tonight, grab dinner at the Endicott Elks, 619 Nanticoke Ave.. The special is Chicken Palermo plus they have the usual fare. They serve from 5 to 7 pm. For more food, stop by a spaghetti dinner fundraiser at the Northern Broome Senior Center, 12 Strongs Place in Whitney Point, on Friday at 5 pm.

This weekend, a good place to go is: the Endwell UMC, 3301 Watson Blvd, on Saturday from 4 to 7 pm there's a roast beef dinner and they are holding a Doug's Fish Fry on Friday from 11 am to 6 pm!

The Troy Volunteer Fire Department, 88 Firehouse Drive in PA, is having their
annual craft show Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm at the station. Proceeds benefit the equipment fund.

Saturday, go shopping! The Community Baptist Church, 743 Chenango Street in Port Dickinson, is holding a rummage and bake sale on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm with a noon bag sale.  Or head to the United Methodist Church in Little Meadows, PA from 9 am until 2 pm for their rummage sale.The bag sale is 1 to 2 pm and lunch is available.

Plus, the Ogden-Hillcrest UMC, 1061 Chenango Street in Binghamton, will have
thrift shop hours on Saturday from 10 am to 2 pm with a $2 bag sale!

For some exercise, the Apalachin Lions Club is hosting their Lion 5k walk/run on Saturday at the Apalachin Fireman's Field Day grounds at 10 am. Registration is at 9. Includes a kid's fun run.

The 7th Annual Octoberfest at Conklin Presbyterian Church, 1175 Conklin Road, is Saturday from 10 am to 3 pm. Have fun at the lunch cafe, check out the crafters and vendors, the baked goods, rummage sale and so much more.

The Rome Presbyterian Church Education Building in PA is hosting a penny social Saturday at 6 pm. For more delicious food, you can also enjoy the Nanticoke UMC Harvest Supper at 4:30 pm. it's turkey and the trimmings!

To help pets, stop by the Animal Care Council's garage sale at the Knights of Columbus, 126 main Street in JC. It's Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm. Donations are accepted Friday from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm. No clothes please!

Sunday is another busy day!

The St. Cyril's Social Club, 148 Clinton Street in Binghamton, is having a French Toast
Breakfast on  at 7:30 am til noon. For another wonderful breakfast, head to the Leonardsville Fire Department on Mill Street for a donation pancake breakfast from 7 to 10:30 am. Takeouts are available.

The CHOW Hunger walk is on the campus of Binghamton
University. Registration is at 1 pm and the walk is at 2 pm. There will be lots
of activities afterwards, including music.

St. John the Evangelist Church, Rock Street in Newark Valley, is hosting a
Polish dinner from noon to 2 pm. Take outs available.

The Madrigal Choir of Binghamton will open its 36th season with American Masters, a concert at 3 pm at the United Presbyterian Church, 42 Chenango Street in Binghamton.
