What’s Happening This Weekend in Binghamton

It never ceases to amaze me how much there is to do in the Southern Tier. I have friends that complain about their community being inactive, but we have none of that here!

Take your pick of fun activities this weekend:

Today and tomorrow, there's a garage and bake sale at the Episcopal Parsonage, Main Street in Whitney Point. It's from 9 am until 2 pm. Bag sale is Saturday from 12:30 pm to 2 pm.

Tonight, the Endicott Elks Friday Night Dinner special is liver and onions and the standard menu. Serving from 5 to 7 pm.  619 Nanticoke Ave.

Beginning today, the Most Holy Rosary, Route 26 in Maine,holds Octoberfest  with live music, games, food, bake sale and more! Bring the family. It wraps up on Sunday.

Saturday you can check out an Indoor Garage Sale/Bake Sale from 8am to noon at the Chenango Bridge Fire Station, 17 Kattelville Rd in Binghamton. Proceeds benefit the CF PTA programs and initiatives.

The Traci's Hope 10th annual fundraiser is  noon to 6 pm at the Apalachin Fairgrounds. Barbecue, music, raffles and fun for kids. PLUS the 7th Annual Motorcycle Ride to Traci's Hope at Hiawatha Motorcycles on Route 434. Registration for the ride is 10:30 and kickstands up at 12:30.  This is a wonderful event!

These sound delicious! Triangle Fire Station,on Route 206, is having a penny social on Saturday at 4:30 pm. Food available all night! And the Harpursville United Methodist Church's Fall buffet breakfast is Saturday from 7:30 to 10:30 am.

How about hunting for treasures? All Saints Church, 42 Harry L. Drive in JC, is having a rummage sale on Saturday from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm and Monday 4:30 to 6 pm.

Sunday, you can take your pick, too!

Cornerstone Community Church's Church Women United Coffee Hour is 3 to 4:30 pm. Join them at the church, 911 East Main Street in Endicott.

The Round Hill Masonic Center, 403 East Main Street in Endicott, is hosting a roast pork dinner from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Take outs available.

The group Harmonic Brass, from Germany, presents a concert at Nimmonsburg United Methodist Church, 918 Upper Front Street in Binghamton. It's at 7 pm. Freewill offering.

West Corners Lions/Lioness pasta dinner is 11:30 am to 4 pm at Our Lady of Good Council Church Hall, West Main Street in Endicott.

There is a Fall antiques and collectibles market from 8 am to 3 pm at the Owego Elks Lodge #1039, 223 Front Street. Browse away!

The Jacobs Brothers perform at the First Baptist Church, 5 Park Street in Marathon, at 6:30 pm. A good way to round out your weekend.
