As summer kicks in, we have more walks and charitable to participate in. take the opportunity to lend a hand and get exercise too.

The Endicott Elks will have a guest chef preparing Chicken parmesan along with their regular menu on Friday night. Serving from 5 to 8 pm. The Band of Gold performs from 8 to 11 pm,

Relay for Life will be at SUNY Broome Friday beginning at 6 pm with closing ceremony at 10 am Saturday. Walk, donate or root on the walkers!

The 41st annual Greek Festival is Thursday through Sunday beginning at noon at the Greek Annunciation Church, O’Hara Drive in Vestal.

Eastern Broome Senior Center, 27 Golden Lane in Harpursville, will hold a Hot Dogs and Hot Deals rummage sale on Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm. There will be special deals during the day and you can buy hot dogs, too!

The Harpursville United Methodist Church presents The Jacobs Brothers in concert on Saturday at 6 pm. A free will community pasta dinner and salad will be held before hand from 4 to 6 pm.

The Cortland County Sheriff’s Department is having a NYS safe boating course on June 14th at the Cortland Regional Training Center, 999 State Route 13 in Cortland. Pre-registration is required. Call 758-5599 extension 7. Anyone born on or after May 1, 1996 must take this course if they plan to use a boat or personal watercraft.  

There will be a chicken and biscuit dinner on Saturday from 4:30 to 6 pm at the Gibson Grange Hall on Route 92 in Gelatt, PA. All are welcome!

There will be a fundraiser spaghetti dinner for Veterans Wrestling World Championships J Gold, Jason Goldman, an NYS Champion and Hall of Famer from M-E High. It’s Sunday from 2 to 6 pm at the United Methodist Church, 740 River Road in Chenango Bridge.

The Family and Children’s Society, 257 Main Street in Binghamton, open house is Tuesday from 3 to 5 pm. Join them in celebrating their return after a fire. Ribbon cutting is at 4 pm.

The 1st annual Towanda Walks for Autism is Saturday at Merrill Parkway from 10 am to 2 pm. Registration is at 10 am and the walk at 11.
