What’s Happening in Binghamton This Weekend

It's a busy weekend as we prep for the holidays! Since it is the season giving, you have plenty of chances to do that. Take a look at some of the events around the Southern Tier this weekend:

The Marine Corps Reserve Dunkin Donuts Toys for Tots train is making stops in the Southern Tier on Saturday. They will be distributing toys at a few stops, including the Binghamton Rail Yard at 10:20 am, in Bainbridge at 34 West Main Street at 12:05 pm, in Oneonta at Broad Street & James Georgeson at 1:30 pm, and at 610 Main Street in Cobleskill at 3 pm.

There is a Valley Social Dance on Friday from 7 to 11 pm at VFW Post 1536, 932 W. Lockhart St in Sayre.

The Berean Bible Church, 109 County Road 2 in Greene, is having a Coats for the Community giveaway in December and needs coat donations. They need to be clean, gently used or new. Accessories like hats, mittens, scarves and gloves are also being accepted. Bagged items may be dropped off weekday mornings or call 656-8413.

Breakfast with Santa, to benefit Mom’s House, is Saturday from 8 to 11:30 am at the Endwell United Methodist Church, 3301 Watson Blvd.. Live Christmas music, bake sale. Gifts and $3 pictures with Santa!

New Life Ministries, 201 Hill Ave in Endicott, is hosting the Big Give, a Christmas concert to benefit their food bank, on Friday at 7 pm. Doors open at 6:30. When Oceans Rise will perform.

The Broome County Public Library hosts “Treasures of the R.M.S. Titanic on Thursday December 11 has been cancelled.

The Endicott Elks Friday night dinner is Liver & Onions along with their regular menu. Serves from 5 to 7 pm. Then December 11th, from 5 to 7 pm it’s their Christmas Charities dinner of spaghetti and meatballs.

The Lisle Fire Company is hosting a ham and turkey party on Saturday with doors open at 6:45 pm. Advance donation is $3, $5 at the door.

The Owego Apalachin music booster club’s annual craft fair is Saturday 10 am to 3 pm at the Middle School. Food and beverages are available as you shop.

Cub pack 100 is having a Christmas tree sale at All Saints Episcopal Church, 475 main Stree in JC, on Saturday and December 13th from 10 am to 4 pm and December 7th and 14th from 11 am to 4 pm.
