Fall weather is upon us. The leaves are falling, but it isn't time to hibernate yet! Get out and enjoy some of the many Southern Tier events going on this weekend:

The Endicott Elks Friday dinner is bacon wrapped meatloaf, along with their regular menu. Serves from 5 to 7 pm.

The "Lick Cancer Once and for All" Music Fest and Benefit is Saturday from 1 to 9 pm at the Endicott Elks. Food, music, face painting, a bounce house and more too!

The Clark Mills Fire department is hosting a benefit for cancer patient, 7 year old Kane Wolfe, on Sunday from 1 to 5 pm. There will be a band, t shirt sale, refreshments, games, and raffles.

The Broome County Senior Games are underway until November 1st. If you want to participate or root someone on, get info by calling Rita at 778-2411. It's open to anyone 55 or older.

The Hungry Ear, a Broome County Library program celebrating the short story will present it's next program on Monday the 29th at 5:30 pm.

The Binghamton Elks Lodge's Friday dinner is lasagna rollups or fish dinner. Serves from 5 to 8 pm. Their chicken rib bbq and bake sale is on Saturday from noon until it's gone.

Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 701 West Main St in Endicott, is holding a rummage sale on Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm with a bag sale at 1.

The Jacobs Brothers will perform at the First Baptist Church, 5 Park Street in Marathon, on Sunday at 6:30 pm.

The Around The World 5k is Sunday at noon at the Vestal Coal House. Represent a country you have a connection to! Benefits the Jewish Community Center, which serves Greater Binghamton.

There will be a Brooks BBQ fundraiser for the Broome County Senior Games on Friday from 3:30 to 6:30 pm or until sold out at Tractor Supply Company, 154 Vestal Parkway West.

There is a benefit for Mary Dean, who is battling stage 4 cancer, at the West Endicott Fire Station, 113 Page Ave, on Saturday from noon to 6 pm.  There will be food, door prizes, raffles and more. Proceeds will assist in paying medical bills.

The Thompson United Methodist Church, 586 Main Street in Thompson PA, hosts a roast beef supper on Saturday at 5 pm. eat in or take out.

The Anglican Church of the Good Shepherd is hosting their annual Garden Gala on Thursday from 5:30 to 6:30 pm. Wonderful food and live music!

The Binghamton University Alumni Art Show runs now through December 13th at the University art Museum. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday noon to 4 and Thursdays noon to 7.

JCC, 500 Clubhouse Road in Vestal, is hosting local dog trainer Myrph McMahon for a 5 week dog training course on Tuesdays from 6 to 7 pm beginning September 30th. To register, call 724-2417.
