What’s Happening at the End of 2014 in Binghamton?

As we get ready to wrap up 2014, there are some event you should know about happening next week!

The Stop-DWI Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament kicks off on Saturday with the Aldo Rossi Jr. Police Memorial Game. The tourney features regional teams, as well as some from Pennsylvania, Virginia and even Toronto. For the full breakdown of info, click here.

Attorney Thomas Schimmerling is offering his 18th annual Safe Night on New Year's Eve. Party-goers who have had too much to drink can get a FREE taxi ride home between midnight and 4 am New Year's morning. All you have to do to get the free ride is call 779-1000. PLEASE take advantage of this if you are drinking on New Year's Eve.

There is a New Year's Eve Luncheon at the Broome County Senior Centers on Wednesday at 11 am. It is open to all seniors, their families and friends. reserve your spot 24 in advance by calling the Broome Senior Center of your choice.

The 2014 Family Resolution 5k Fun Run/Walk is Wednesday at 1 pm at Otsiningo Park. Registration ends at 12:45. There will be refreshments, music and a visit from the Binghamton Zoo afterwards.
