Throwback Thursday: Battle of the Network Stars [VIDEO]

Remember when TV was fun and shows were creative? I am going to say that "Battle of the Network Stars" was like a precursor to reality TV. Real stars went head to head in real competitions. Sometimes there were even injuries.

One of the best parts was watching Howard Cosell treat these competitions as seriously as the NFL games he covered. The play by play is classic.

ESPN Classic shows "BOTNS" every week and I rarely miss it.
