I can't say that I've ever felt baking deprived but apparently, the rest of the world believes that I was. One single can of full-fat sweetened condensed milk (14 ounces) and one bag of semi-sweet or bittersweet chocolate chips (12-ounces).

How Do I Make Two-Ingredient Fudge?

In a large microwave-safe bowl, empty the contents of the can of sweetened condensed milk and then your bag of chocolate chips. Heat in the microwave on full power at 30-second intervals, mixing in between until the chocolate is completely mixed together with the condensed milk and there are no white streaks of milk. Then, pour the mixture onto a wax paper-lined pan and spread with a spatula or knife. Bang the pan on your counter a few times to release any air bubbles. Then, pop your fudge into the refrigerator for 30 minutes to an hour until your fudge feels firm to the touch.

Can I Add Toppings to My Homemade Fudge?

Sure! Before you put your fudge in the refrigerator, you can top it with chopped nuts or smashed peppermint, colored sprinkles, or perhaps a bit of shredded coconut. The possibilities are endless, really!

How Do I Store Homemade Fudge?

A lot of people think that fudge needs to be kept in the refrigerator but if anything, doing that will likely dry it out faster. Instead, either keep your fudge right on the counter in an airtight container with pieces of wax paper separating layers of fudge or store it in the freezer. If you're storing it in the freezer, you'll want to layer it in an airtight container with pieces of wax paper between pieces of fudge. When you're ready to eat your fudge, pull it out of the freezer and wait 30 minutes or so until it becomes soft enough to chew.
