Things To Do This Weekend In Binghamton
It’s Father’s Day weekend and there is a lot going on that you can share with Dad!
Who doesn’t love a carnival? Head out to the 44th annual Warren Township Fireman’s Field Days today and tomorrow in Warren Center. There’ll be games, carnvial style food, bbq chicken and more! The midway opens at 6 pm Friday and 3 pm Saturday with a fireworks display Friday night.
Saturday, the West Chenango United Methodist Church, 433 Upper Stella Ireland Rd in Binghamton, is having a chicken bbq and rummage sale from 9 am til sold out. Rummage sales are always fun.
I used to be in a hand bell choir, so I had to share this: the Ogden-Hillcrest UMC, 1061 Chenango St in Binghamton, is hosting a hand bell concert on Sunday at 4pm. It’s free.
This sounds cool! Our Savior Lutheran Church, 731 Hooper Rd in Endwell, is having a Samson’s Coffee House on tomorrow from 7 to 9 pm. Music by Rachael Lawler and the band ROAR.
It’s a barbecue! All Saints Episcopal Church, 475 Main Street in JC, is having a chicken barbecue tomorrow from 11 am until sold out, so get there early.
It’s Dad’s special Day Sunday, so how about these activities?
Head to a Father’s Day breakfast on Sunday from 8 am to noon. Bring Dad to the fun at the Knight’s of Columbus, 136 Park Ave in Binghamton.
Or this: the Leonardsville Fire Department is hosting a donation pancake breakfast on Sunday, at the fire hall on Mill Street, from 7 to 10:30 am. take outs available.
Also., the Endicott Elks hold their annual Father’s Day breakfast on Sunday from 8 to 11:30 am at 619 Nanticoke Ave in Endicott.
Coming up Tuesday, if you’re single, head to the Contemporary Singles meeting and picnic at Arnold Park in Vestal. it’s at 6 pm. Or head to the Hillside Garden Center “Seeds of Life” program at the Relief Pitcher on Conklin Ave in Binghamton. they’ll have a speaker and dinner. Call 770-9142 for info.
On Wednesday, the United FC Soccer Club is having the 2013 Futbol Fest at the BC United Fields (next to Ann McGuinness school) in Endicott from 5:30 to 8 pm. You can enjoy the soccer and a cookout too. It’s a great way to get to know the sport. For info on this, visit United’s website.
