There are so many sports on so many channels these days, that you can pretty much see everything you want and in real time. But, it wasn’t always this way. There are some things (both good and bad) about the way things were back in the day that sports fans born after 1990 will never experience or really understand. Here are some of those things.

Big Hits – Believe it or not, the NFL is pretty tame today. It wasn't long ago that the NFL celebrated the violence, but now they try to hide it because of all the concussion lawsuits. And I don't know about you, but I'm totally cool with that.

Monday Night Football – People in their 20's might not realize this, but Monday Night Football used to be king.  It's not anymore. Now, it’s just sad and Sunday Night Football has taken its place.

March Madness – The way it used to be is that you had to watch just one NCAA tournament game at a time. Not anymore.

Gatorade – There used to be just three flavors. Lemon-lime, Orange, and Fruit Punch. Can you imagine? Now there are what feels like dozens of flavors.
