There a couple things you may not know about me, so I will share: I love baseball and I love helping local charities. So, when the B-Mets came up with the idea for "King of Southern Tier Media" I was all over it. I am not really going after the title, just helping the Goodwill Theatre and Schorr Family Firehouse Stage.

As you may know, the Goodwill Theatre has undergone substantial renovations. Any help they can get from us added to their piggybank would help. So let's get this thing started!

Did I mention this is also a great way to support the hottest team in Minor League baseball? That's right, not just their division, but the entire system!

Here's how it works:

B-Mets are going to crown a local personality “King of Southern Tier Media”.
Voting will be based on ticket sales for the August 21st game against the  Bowie Baysox.
To vote for me simply go to the Oakdale Mall Office between now and August 18th and
buy discounted tickets for just six dollars each (mention me and the Whale).  Three dollars from each ticket that you buy at the Oakdale Mall office will go to the Goodwill Theatre and Schorr Family Firehouse Stage!

If we sell the most tickets our charity will receive four dollars from every ticket we’ve sold!
This is a great deal on tickets, plus the August 21st game is a fireworks night!
So head for the Oakdale Mall Office and buy your tickets for the August 21st B-Mets game
for just six dollars each!

My take on it is this; if we win and I get crowned the "Queen of Southern Tier Media", YOU get bragging rights for being the best listener family in the Southern Tier. Of course, the ultimate payoff is helping out the Goodwill Theatre and Schorr Family Firehouse Stage.

Let's get going an thanks!
