Susquehanna Park Hit by Vandals

Sometime over the weekend, vandals trashed the Frank J. Reddon Sports Complex in Susquehanna causing hundreds of dollars in damage.

The suspects took day glow spray paint and covered the children's' play area with indecent comments and drawings, threatening comments and swastikas.

As I surveyed the damage I got really ticked off. Who has that little regard for others and is that stupid? Obviously someone is. parents will not let their children play on the equipment as defaced as it is.

This is where the community needs to step up and turn these scum bags in. Any tips can be called into the boro police department at 570-853-3235.

The town does not have the funds to clean up the park on its own, and will have to wait until the insurance claim is finalized to make repairs.
