Should J.J. Abrams Cast William Shatner In The New Star Wars Movie?

Hollywood has been buzzing since director J.J. Abrams was named director for the new Star Wars movie. He has already been behind the lens (and will continue to be) of the latest Star trek films. These are the biggest sci-fi dynasties ever and one man is in control.

Well, William Shatner, who arguably is a main reason Star Trek is legendary, wants in. On the Star Wars franchise! Ok, he'll accept a spot in the new Star Trek too.

In a recent interview, the outspoken icon, said of Abrams "He's a pig. He's collecting the two franchises and holding them close to the vest." And he continued "I think it's time for J.J. and I to have another sushi and let me put him straight about two of the largest franchises . . . and not employing me in either one of them is just foolhardy."

What you don't know is that J.J. Abrams and Shatner move in the same circles, so this wasn't a bash. It was a nudge.

I love the idea of William Shatner being in Star Wars, It adds a new twist that will make many more people head to the theaters. That's just my opinion. Now we want yours!
