News of the Weird Runner Up: Jackass Kicked Off Ballot

You may not think it's a surprise that a jackass was on a ballot, but I don't mean that kind!

According to the San Francisco Chronicle, a group of over 40 people marched through the streets in a town in Ecuador with Mr. Burro in toe (donned in hat and tie) to place the critter on the official town ballot. Sadly, that jackass of the four-legged variety was rejected and the 2 legged variety placed on the ballot instead.

If they really want to elect an animal, they should find out how Hank the Cat not only got on the Virgina Senator race ballot, but placed THIRD.
