While looking for Strange But True stories for this morning's Freezone in the Morning I found this article on the New York Post. It's a new fashion trend that women were sporting at the Lollapalooza Festival in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The new trend is called 'Nipple Stickers', and it features women wearing see-through shirts with stickers that look like electrical tape covering their nipples.

I'm not one for fashion as you can clearly see by just looking at me, but a lot of times when it comes to fashion it's all about the shock value. You see pictures of models on runways wearing things that you never see people wearing in public. For example over the past year, we've had clear see-through plastic pants, thong jeans (which looked like ass-less chaps made out of denim), and other articles of clothing that you never see anyone wear out in public. I joked around on the morning show today that if this did become a new fashion trend there would be a rise in motor vehicle accidents. I'm sure most men would be gawking if they saw a woman wearing this, and women would be looking in shock.

I'm not sure it will ever take off in the United States, but I'm sure I speak for a lot of men when I say I sure hope it does. I can just imagine walking around a festival like Spiedie Fest and having women dressed like this. There would be people bumping into each other all over Otsiningo Park. Spiedie Fest is a bad example because it's a family event, but maybe something like Nikstock would be more appropriate for something like this.

Check out a couple of pictures of women donning the nipple stickers on the New York Post website.
