Near Riot in Cortland After Ithaca-Cortland Football Game. [VIDEO]

Cortland police called for backup after "Cortica" weekend spiraled out of control. The weekend marks the football matchup of Cortland and Ithaca colleges. After Cortland's fourth straight win, students and others crowded the streets throwing bottles, furniture and anything not nailed down.

Police called for help from surrounding towns and over 30 people were arrested and there were injuries.

This is a "shaking my head" moment. So you have that much pride in your team that you trash your beloved town? Really? It's not the first time this has happened on Cortaca weekend. You think someone would have learned a lesson.
