McDonald’s Is Changing It’s Menu For Some Healthier Options
McDonald's has been seeing people leave them pretty consistently in favor of healthier options, and now they've chosen to do something about it.
According to an article in the NY Times;
On Monday, the fast food giant revealed that their McNuggets, sausage patties, and eggs will not have artificial colors. They also stated that they would no longer use high-fructose corn syrup in their buns, instead they would use sugar. They will now use real actual butter from margarine for its Egg McMuffins. McDonald’s will also make a big change on their most popular item, removing artificial preservatives from their McNuggets.
Mike Andres, the President of McDonald's USA said that they'd rather change the menu options to what the customers want. Mr. Andres said on Monday, “Why take a position to defend them if consumers are saying they don’t want them?”
What do you think? Will this help or hurt their products? Or have they gotten so big that no changes, big or small, will have an effect on their company?
