It’s Time for High School Football!

The Southern Tier is lucky to have very competitive high school football teams. Last year's season was an exciting one and this year looks to be just as great. It kicks off on Friday. Are you ready?

Regardless of whether you have kids in high school or not, support our local teams. If you are an NFL fan, you know of 3 examples of what could be missed! Arthur (Colts), Chandler (Patriots) and DaQuan Jones (Titans).

Now, I went to the same high school as Franco Harris and Irving Fryar, so I can attest to the excitement that permeated the program year after year. All because those 2 NFLers went to my school.

Any way you look at it, supporting your school is always a good thing to do. It's lends encouragement and pride to the players.
