One of the coolest events is the return of the Greater Binghamton Airshow! We have more details here.

Oneonta Hometown 4th Festival is two days beginning Friday at 12pm with the Hometown 4th parade from Foothills down Main Street to Neahwa Park.Then, a variety of entertainment on the Basketball Court Stage at Neahwa Park including Mike the Juggler at 1pm, Hillbilly Junkyard at 5:45pm and Cosmic Karma Fire at 8pm. The main stage will feature music from just about every genre from 1pm to 10pm. At 9:20pm, Fireworks!

On Saturday July 5th there will be a Blendo’s Community Kickball Game at Neahwa Park where all are welcome at 12pm. You’ll need to sign up at the basketball courts behind the large pavilion near the skate park at 11:30am. From 1-3:30pm will be the Blendo’s Summer League Basketball Games. 1-4pm it's the Battle of the Bands Preliminaries and live music on the main stage. 5pm will be the Blendo’s Community Volleyball Game. All are welcome to participate in this event as well, but you’ll need to sign up at 4:30pm at the basketball court behind the large pavilion by the skate park.In addition to the games and music, there will also be a children’s activity area, arts and crafts, BBQ, Farmers Market and more.

Candor's 3 day Independence Day festivities begin on Thursday with a kiddie parade at 6pm. Lineup will be at 5:30pm at the ambulance garage. It's followed by a carnival from 6pm-10 and Bingo from 6pm-9pm. On Friday July 4th, there will be a parade at 10am with lineup on Church Street. A chicken BBQ follows, then a carnival from 6pm-10pm and Bingo from 6pm-9pm. And the celebration wraps up Saturday with a carnival from 4pm–10pm, Bingo from 6pm–9pm, a Candor Community Chorus Concert at Candor High school at 7pm, Candor Community Chorus Independence Day concert “A Tribute to Those Who Serve” at 7pm in the Candor High School Auditorium, carnival from 4-10pm and fireworks at dusk.

Thompson, PA's Independence day celebration is on Friday beginning with a parade at 11:30am followed by a chicken BBQ at 11am which includes food, games (including bingo), music, beer and clams all day, then fireworks at 10pm. If it rains, the fun will be moved to July 5th with festivities starting at 6pm and fireworks at 10pm.

Endwell's Highland Park will be hopping for the 4th of July! Admission to the park is free and the park has many attractions of it’s own including pools, playgrounds and a carousel. The Colors of Freedom Run/Walk will kick off at 9am and will be followed by arts & crafts, food vendors, including the annual Chicken Bar-B-Que, and musical entertainment from 12:30-9:30pm.
The day is topped off by a fantastic fireworks display which is slated to begin at 9:30pm!

Montrose is all set to celebrate Independence Day too! July 4th starts with a one mile fun run, 5k and 10K. Then, the all you can eat pancake breakfast from 7:30am-10:30am at the Montrose United Methodist Church on the corner of Maple and Church.Browse through the Village Green and check out arts, crafts and food vendors from 8am to 4pm, but don’t miss the Patriotic Parade which starts on Grow Avenue at 11am.
The night will end with a spectacular fireworks display at dusk at Montrose High School.
