A restaurant is Philly stirred up controversy when it posted the receipt of LeSean McCoy, a Philadelphia Eagle player. The slip showed only a 20 cent tip on an over a 60 dollar check.

The server admitted there was bad service; a forgotten appetizer, one order made incorrectly. I have my own opinion about who was right, which I will share at the end of this.

What do you do when you have bad service? If it is the food itself, bring it up to the server. If you are not satisfied, then ask for the manager. Many people hate to say something, but how is the restaurant going to know they are not doing a good job if you don't. You are paying them to do a satisfactory job, not for you to leave disappointed, or worst case, with food poisoning!

I have returned salmon to the kitchens of 3 different restaurants. If it is not cooked enough, I could get parasites, so it is in my best interest that I do. I am paying for a good meal, no illness.

If you don't speak up, then you should leave a full tip, since it's your bad. Now then, if the waiter is doing a bad job, that is when you cut the tip. But still speak with the manager directly.

Now then, I have learned that the restaurant that served McCoy, which I will not name as to not give in to their "15 minutes of fame", is looking to go global. As a matter of fact, an article in a restaurant trade magazine touted it! Interesting how the timing worked out.

Knowing this, it could be perceived that the publishing of the receipt, was in every way, a stunt. This eatery is known for their stunts. Just sayin'. I would suggest that no Eagles players go in there for a while, for their own protection.
