Hallmark Gets Too Politically Correct with ‘Deck The Halls’ Ornament [POLL]

I was just thinking yesterday how over the top stupid the politically correct movement is getting. Damn right I said stupid!

Case in point, Hallmark and one of their Holiday Keepsake Ornaments. My friend took this screenshot from the Hallmark website:

Seriously?? Changing "don we now our gay apparel" to FUN apparel? That is ridiculous! I am livid right now and so, apparently are many Hallmark customers. Their Facebook page has been flooded with complaints, as it should be.

The modern lyrics to "Deck the Halls" were published in 1866. The use of the word gay is not offensive in the context.

I am embarrassed for this Country. We are so worried about offending that we go completely overboard. Lighten up America!
