If you are lucky enough to have Thanksgiving leftovers, you are also lucky enough to try and figure out how to creatively use them up.

Here are some ideas. They came from my family and friends.

1. Leftover cranberry sauce. This, on the surface, is tough to get rid of. If you like yogurt smoothies, toss some into it to add a splash of flavor. You can also fold it into cool whip to make a cranberry mousse. Yep, just fold it in and you have a delish dessert!

2. Mashed potatoes and stuffing. Create a casserole using peas and carrots and even any leftover turkey you have. If there's no turkey, add chicken or beef and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.

3. Gravy and turkey. We would always toss the gravy and turkey, and add chicken if more meat was needed, into a pot on the stove top and simmer until it was fully heated. You can put it over bread or waffles or have it "straight up".

4. The concoction. That's what my Grammy called it when she tossed everything into one pot and simmered it. And I mean every piece of leftover there was. Before you say "ewww!" try it!

Do you have a special leftover recipe to share? Bring it on!
