Looking for things to do in our community? Here’s what's going on around the Greater Binghamton area over the next week.

  • The Samaritan House is in desperate need of children’s clothing size two to pre-teen. All donations are redistributed free to those in need. Drop off clothing donations at the brick building on Fayette Street, Binghamton.
  • The Endwell Fire Auxiliary is holding a firefighter family garage sale, Saturday, February 13th for nine until noon at the Endwell Fire Station, 3508 Country Club Road, Endwell.
  • Help support people with disabilities by participating in Community Options’ Cupids Chase 5K at Otsiningo Park on February 13th. To learn more go to cupids chase dot org.
  • The West Corners Lions Club will be holding an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast, Sunday February 14th from 8a to 11:30a at OLGC West Main St. Endicott.
  • Binghamton University will host a School of Pharmacy & Pharmaceutical Sciences Town Hall meeting at 1pm on February 17th in Old Union Hall on campus. Free and open to the public.
  • Maine American Legion Post 1390, Route 26, Maine, is having an all you can eat chicken & biscuit dinner on February 13th from 4 to 7pm. Adults eight dollars, children six to twelve are four dollars, children five and under are free.
  • Friends of the Library will hold a benefit dinner to help the Apalachin Library at Ransom Steele Tavern on February 21st from noon until four. Tickets are fifteen dollars for adults, ten dollars for children and must be purchased in advance at the Apalachin Library, 719 Main Street, Apalachin.
  • Join Reality Check and the Binghamton Senators to help stop smoking in youth rated movies at the B-Sens game Friday, February 19th at the Floyd L Maines Veterans Memorial Arena for a special ticket price of fourteen dollars. Includes your ticket to that evening’s game and the tobacco free movie GOOSEBUMPS immediately following the game.  All ages welcome.  Call the B-Sens office and mention Reality Check for more information.
  • The Broome County Office for Aging hosts “Caregiver Cuisine” – a free presentation for caregivers about providing quick and healthy meals, Wednesday, February 24th from 3 to 4pm at the Broome West Senior Center, 2801 Wayne Street, Endwell. Pre-registration is required – call 778-2411.
  • The Lourdes Mission in Motion Mammography Van is coming to the Karen Gorman Agency, 2 Cushman Blvd, Binghamton on Monday February 29th from 10a to 2p call 798-5723 to schedule an appointment.
