It's back! Binghamton Restaurant Week began Tuesday (3/21) and continues through Thursday March 30th. This is your opportunity to sample the great food and atmosphere Binghamton restaurants have to offer.

There are around 25 restaurants participating with a combination of lunch and dinner options. Each offers a 3 or 4 course meal, so you get a great idea of what each restaurant is all about. The idea is to introduce everyone to restaurants in Binghamton and what they offer. You'd be surprised just how delicious and diverse these menus are.

I had an opportunity to visit Burger Mondays for Binghamton Restaurant Week on Wednesday. I started with the Guinness Chili for an appetiser which was delicious, but the staff decided I should also try the Fried Rice, which contains vegetable fried rice, soy chili garlic, farm fresh eggs and cashews. That was excellent!

For the main course, my waitress suggested the Pork Belly Burger, and so I did. This burger consists of slow roasted pork belly, carolina mop, apple slaw and smoked cheddar. It comes with a side of Burger Mondays famous french fries. All in all, a great meal.

How I found a bit of room for dessert, is a mystery, but to say no to the mint brownie sundae would just be wrong. A perfect way to top off an excellent meal at Burger Mondays. Check out the pictures and give them a try. All part of Binghamton Restaurant Week!
