Binghamton’s Mayor Ryan Eyeing A Third Term?

Recently (and on our sister station WNBF), Mayor Matthew Ryan admitted that he would like to run for a third term as Binghamton's mayor. Ryan believes the vote on term limits can be successfully challenged.

The question is, should elected officials change the rules to gain more time and power in office? Personally, I have a natural aversion to extending anyone's time in office. That kind of power tends to corrupt and the "People's" voice tends to go unheard.
