Beginning of the Decade Classic Rock Weekend

With the passing of each decade, we notice changes in the style of music. I noticed it around 1980 , more than most other decade beginnings. Maybe it was because New Wave music was coming on the scene.

Even with the passing of the 60s, which featured a psychedelic sound toward the end, kind of disappeared with Pop and Rock dominating the music charts.

For this weekend's theme, we thought it would be cool to highlight the songs that were popular in the beginning of the 70s era and follow up that hourly double shot with a song from the beginning of the 80s era. As you listen, you notice the different music styles in that span of 10 years. Enjoy!
