As I write this blog, it's mid-afternoon and my thought process has shut down.

Not that I engage the brain often enough anyway, but we all get to that point in the day where the mind just wants to shut down, as Pink Floyd puts it, go 'Comfortably Numb.' When that happens, I tend to go to a happy place - the Internet.

That World Wide Web thingy has the entire world and beyond for you to explore. You just need to figure out where you want to go. For me, finding a cool virtual roller coaster is fun. Maybe diving into one of the map programs where you can travel the world, including streets without leaving the chair.

For those who are in the learning mode - that means you have to engage the brain back into operating mode - there's a tutorial on how to fix, make and create just about anything. These are things you already know. I'm just happy the the Internet is around to occupy my mind when nothing else at the moment is interesting (including work.)

So with that said (or written), lets take a mind numbing break, and watch an awesome view of the Milky Way in 51 seconds. Then it'll be time to get back to reality.
