Win Tickets to See Lewis Black March 5th at the Forum

Legendary comedian Lewis Black returns to Binghamton next Thursday March 5th. at the Broome County Forum and we want you to see the show on us.

Lewis Black is currently on his 'It Gets Better Every Day' tour, and next Thursday he will be in town. Be listening to Freezone in the Morning all this week around 7:20 to win tickets to see the show. And to celebrate that Lewis is coming to town, I will be featuring Lewis Black as the comedian for the Whale Morning Laugh all week at 8:33 a.m.

I first heard of Lewis Black back in 1996. A co-worker of mine, Todd, was talking about how funny this comedian was. At that time, Lewis had a weekly slot on Comedy Central's “The Daily Show”. He said he picks a topic and just starts ranting about it. I don't remember exactly what the topic was, but the way Todd described Lewis's bit on it, made me have to check him out. And I'm glad I did.

The so called “King of Rant, get so worked up during his stand-up routines, you can see the veins popping out of his head and neck. He picks every day scenarios or news stories, and causes you to crack up laughing with his rant about them.

My personal favorite Lewis black stand-up routine, is when he was going off on candy corn. He thought he was in for a treat when his mother gave him candy corn for the first time. She told him it was candy that was supposed to taste like corn, he spit it out and started to scream about how disgusting it was, saying it didn't taste like candy or corn, it tasted like s#!t.

I've interviewed Louis a handful of times and he is just as funny off the cuff during an interview as he is on stage.
