The Binghamton Bearcats defeated the New Hampshire Wildcats on Wednesday night by a score of 51-42 to advance to the semifinal round of the America East Championship Tournament.  Binghamton's forwards Olivia Ramil, Karlee Krchnavi and Carly Boland were superb in powering the Bearcats to victory.

Ramil, a former Binghamton Patriot standout, scored 17 points, grabbed 13 rebounds and blocked five shots in keying the Bearcats to victory. Krchnavi scored eight points and grabbed 11 rebounds and Boland notched nine points.

Binghamton advances to the semifinals for the seventh time since joining America East.  The Bearcats have never won a conference championship. They face the task of meeting the #1 seed in the tournament...the Stony Brook Seawolves on Sunday at 4:00 PM on Long Island.  The game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF with Cam LaVallee's pregame show beginning at 3:45 PM.

Stony Brook was taken into overtime by UAlbany before winning 54-49.  Stony Brook is the # 1 seed and defeated the Bearcats in both regular season games including a 58-54 win at Stony Brook.
