A Broome County resident faces a felony criminal mischief charge after he allegedly damaged a sheriff's office patrol car.

Authorities say 47-year-old Thomas Haen of Whitney Point was taken into custody Sunday following a domestic dispute on Hyde Street in the town of Barker.

Haen was charged with harassment in connection with the dispute.

According to the Broome County Sheriff's Office, Haen was handcuffed and placed in a patrol car. He then is said to have kicked and damaged a vehicle door.
