Summer is winding down, but the activities aren't!

This is the last weekend of the year to ride the carousels, so make sure you head over to one of the 6!

Miracle For Trinity's Heart defect Fund is hosting a baby shower benefit at Brothers Two Restaurant on Saturday from noon to 4 pm. There will be a pasta and salad buffet, music, face painting, raffles, games and more.

Zumbathon, in memory of Sgt. Justin Rogers who lost his life while serving the military, is at the Tioga Central Middle School Gym on Saturday from noon to 2:30pm. Registration is from 11 to 11:30 am. Bring the family!

The All Around Town Yard sale in Warren center, PA is on Saturday from 9 am to 2 pm with a bake sale and chicken bbq too! Residents who want to sell: set up is on Post Office Road.

PAST is holding auditions for its annual ghostly tour: Spirits of Binghamton's Past. Auditions are September 10th at 6 pm at 85 Walnut Street, the carriage house of Salvation temple church. Prepare a monologue of 2 minutes or less. Tour is October 19th with dress rehearsal on October 16th.

The Broome County office for Aging is recruiting volunteers to be classroom grandmas and grandpas in schools, daycares and Head Starts. Must be 55 and older, low income and like kids. For details call the Foster Grandparent program at 778-2089.

The 30th Wrench Wranch- Bluegrass Roundup is Friday through Sunday the 1st at the grounds Route 206 in Coventryville. Camping available. Three days of great music and food.

Fall enrollment is open for Broome County's 4 Catholic schools grades Pre-K through 12.. Families interested can call 723-5307. Tuition assistance is available.
