What You Need to Know for Mountain Jam

We've been telling you about Mountain Jam for months. It's finally here. It starts today at Noon at Hunter Mountain.

It's a three day festival filled with Classic Rock, Rock and Alternative bands. Tickets are still available for individual days, or you can buy a weekend pass. Tickets will be available for purchase at the event.

If you go, there are some things you need to know. There is free off-site parking at Hunter Airport. Just follow the signs and you will be shuttled to the show.

Here are some recommendations on what you should bring: Sunscreen, a blanket to sit on, a small folding chair, a hat, rain gear,  bug spray, ear plugs, and a reusable water bottle. Cameras will be permitted, just no professional equipment. There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms all three days so make sure you bring your rain gear but no umbrellas will be allowed in the concert area.

Here is are things to leave at home; Illegal substances of any kind, glass bottles, weapons or fireworks, pets, kegs or beer balls, spray paint, large hammers or sledgehammers, charcoal grills, and fire pits.
