The headline is no gimmick! I swear. If it weren't for sex, we would not have those yummy foods. I tripped across this information while looking up what granola is actually made of. And I have to admit, I laughed my butt off!

In 1898; John Kellogg unveiled a new health food called corn flakes. It was basic, natural and most important, contained no sugar. You see, sugar was thought to help stir thoughts of lust, vice and desire. Corn flakes, graham crackers and granola were all invented to stop "disgusting" behavior!

Now, mind you, oysters and similar seafood were an inexpensive staple during this time. And what do we say about oysters? Yep! They promote naughty behavior. I think Kellogg went after the wrong food.
