Watch Metallica Play the Star Spangled Banner

Something cool happened Friday night in the Bay area.

James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett of Metallica were at AT&T Park, performing the national anthem and throwing out the first pitch before the San Francisco Giants hosted the Los Angeles Dodgers. They were on hand as part of Metallica Night at the ball park.

I have to say, it's been awhile since I have heard our National Anthem played with balls! Do you think Francis Scott Key would have loved this rendition?
