Upstate NY Teen One Step Closer to Winning American Idol

Madison VanDenburg, Cohoes, NY, continues to wow the judges of American Idol. On Sunday she moved one step closer to becoming the next Idol.

Not only is VanDenburg blowing Katy Perry, Lionel Ritchie, and Luke Bryan away, shes capturing the hearts of everyone across America.

Madison teamed up with Pat Benatar to tackle her 1984 hit "We Belong." The 17-year-old's performance was enough to place her in the top 14 of the reality competition.

The top 14 now advance to the live shows which start next week. Madison will then count on America's votes to help her become the next American Idol.
