Undefeated BU Women Prepare for Miami Hurricanes

The first nine games of the season went perfectly for the Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team and their second-year coach Bethann Shapiro Ord.  Perfect as in 9-0.  The Bearcats went to final exams week undefeated.  The last game before the break saw the Bearcats come-from-behind to defeat the Cornell Big Red 59-56 in Ithaca.

Next up the Bearcats face their toughest test to date as they travel to Miami and meet the University of Miami Hurricanes on Tuesday night at 7 PM (air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Miami is 5-3 and ranked 25th in the nation.  It is the first time the two teams will meet on the basketball court.

Binghamton will remain in Florida for two more games next week.  They will face Austin Peay on Thursday at 2 PM and either Florida International University or Grambling State on Friday, December 20 with the time to be determined.  Both of those games will be aired on CBS Sports Radio 1360 AM WYOS.
