Two Broome County Schools Make ‘Best Schools for Athletes’ List
The term 'student athlete' has evolved over the years.
It used to be an athlete than just kid of attended school. Its now evolved into someone who excels at both all while juggling a hectic schedule.
Sports are outlet for kids to express themselves, work out anxiety and anger, and stay out of trouble.
They can help athlete develop leadership skills and socialize.
According to Niche, two Broome County schools appeared in the '35 best schools for athletes in Upstate NY.'
The ranking is taken from the 'Top 50' in the state.
According to Syracuse.com:
Ranking is based on 50 percent of student and parent reviews while the rest measures student participation in athletics, number of sports offered at the school, winning championships, and enrollment.
