The train went off the tracks about four miles from the state park, in Hunt, NY.

“I heard it come off the track. Got up, got to the door, all we could see was sparks,” Trevor Blanchard, who was visiting his father in the area said. “So I am yelling at my wife and kids get up, get out! Run, run, we were running up the yard and got halfway and we saw it crashing through the trees.”

There are no reports of injuries from the crash. The Norfolk Southern Train was headed from Buffalo towards Binghamton. The cause of the crash is still being determined.

The best news is no injuries but a pretty scary video below. Hard to believe this has happened twice now in the Western New York region in two weeks' time (East Aurora).
