On September 30, 1960, the wonderful world of cartoons introduced to primetime television viewers, a look back to the stone age when they first heard the words, "Yabba dabba doo".

If you saw the show during it's original six year run, or in the many years of syndication, it was still just funny.

I never got the association with The Honeymooners until I was much older, but once you think about it, you can definitely see the similarities.

The Flintstones was created by the cartoon gods of their time, William Hanna and Joseph Barbera. For over 30 years it was the most successful cartoon ever, until The Simpsons dethroned it.
