This Candor Girl Is A Warrior As She Fights For Her Life
As a parent, when I hear the story of Kendyl White, my heart breaks into so many pieces. I think of my daughters and I can't even imagine for a moment how I would feel if they were going through the same thing as Kendyl is going through.
She had some complications after open-heart surgery and I've been told that it didn't look good for a while. The White family has to navigate a situation that no parent should go through.
She continues to fight for her life and many, many people are using the power of prayer to help little Kendyl and her family through this difficult time. I've said this more than once, sometimes we have to put action into our prayers.
Kendyl White Fundraisers
Here are a few ways to show support for her and her family:
On Sunday, May 22nd, it's Ride for Kendyl beginning at the Shoe Inn with registration at 8:30 a.m. and kickstands up (KSU) at 10:30 a.m. It'll end at the McNeil Pavilion, where the Candor Fair is.
Get there early for a donation breakfast buffet from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. All the funds will be donated to the family for medical, travel, and whatever else they may need.
Also on Sunday, May 22nd, there will be a chicken BBQ at the Candor American Legion Post 907 on 90 Spencer Road. It begins at 12 p.m. and 100% OF THE PROCEEDS WILL BE DONATED TO THE FAMILY.
These are just a few of the events that will are being planned for this mighty warrior. Kendyl is not just a warrior but she is THE warrior and you can keep up to date with all the events on her Kendyl the Warrior FB page.
